Ethical Trekkings & Tours Why choose to tour with Mondulkiri Tour?
We work close with the natives in the nearby villages. The tour guide is coming from that very village, the trek takes place. Everyone involved in every booking gets a fair share of the fee our guests pay for their tours and trekkings.
We have already created employment for the elephant community owners and the local guides. The work is shared between the guides, giving each one the opportunity to sustain their family. Our goal is to create new employment opportunities so more people can become self- reliant.
Mondulkiri Tour acts as a link between the tourists and Potang Village. There is not a fixed salary, it depends on the number of tourists and the guides are paid each day.
You can have an overview of how the money is spent for one day for 2 people. When there is a group larger than 3 tourists, every surplus goes straight back to the Mondulkiri Local Projects and the Putang Village.
Here is how your money is spent
